He always amazed Jerry and I with his boundless energy and kindness. Missed greatly by all his family and friends. Forever in our hearts.
So much experience, talent, and character built up in one man. I knew him personally and professionally. I cherished every encounter I ever had with him, as each was significant in some way. He made you laugh on the surface but think deeply too. He listened, was present, and knew who you were.
I met Liz and Jim about 3 years ago when my daughter Tamara and I discovered the hidden gem that we had passed by for years.  The Medicine Creek winery.  The first time we went there, Liz and Jim made us feel like family and we’ve been regulars to frequent the winery ever since.  When we were greeted by Jim, he made us feel at home, and we were so intrigued by the beautiful Victorian design that Jim had built on inside that old barn, the wood work and the artistry is amazing!  He even designed and built a beautiful stage coach.  Jim was so talented and along with that, he was loved by anyone that met him.  He was a sweet soul and we will miss him.  RIP Jim, until we meet again!  Linda Pasta

This comes as sad news to this long-time dental patient and friend of  Dr.  Jim.  My sincerest condolences to his  lovely wife Liz and all their family.  A visit to  his office was always accompanied by a laugh or two as well as words of wisdom.    Trips to his scientific farm in the Valley below us were always an educational experience.  Jim built a special bridge for my father's front teeth  when he was 98, in 1987, that served him well.

Regrettably, my daughter and I will not be able to attend the  memorial service as it coincides exactly with the date /time of a funeral service for a beloved family member in Yakima.

Sending  up prayers for God's comfort and peace to all who loved Dr. Jim .

The term G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) is bandied about too often these days.  If any one truly deserved that "title", it is Jim.   On my visits to his dental practice, I'd come home and tell my wife "Guess what he is building now!"   We called him a modern renaissance man!  We are so lucky to have known him professionally  and personally.  Such great memories!! - Donna and John Korvell
My heart and b prayers go out to your family.  I am so sorry for your loss.

My first job was as a dental assistant to Jim, in 1972.   He was so much fun to work with, and such an excellent dentist. He made finding another job very difficult, since I could not match those first great experiences in the dental field!

I enjoyed seeing and visiting with him at the winery.

My condolences to you Liz, all the family, and friends.  He will be missed!

Met Jim later in life. Turns out we were both in Vietnam at the same time. He in the Infantry ( in the jungle) and I in the Combat Engineers (clearing the jungle with Rome Plows)  Both harrowing experiences and we survived to exchange stories that know one else but a combat vet would understand. Essayons Jim!

Liz, Our love is with your family for remembering Jim with great love and memories.🙏

Aunt Shirley and the Brown family

My condolences to Jim's family. I first met Jim at the dentist office and liked him and his fun personality instantly. Wonderful man he made you feel safe at the dentist office. He was so much more than a dentist though. He will be missed terribly.
My condolences go out to Liz and the family.  I met this amazing man about 20 years ago when I started working at his dental office as a part time hygienist.  It was a pleasure every day I went to work there.  He was so warm and excited about whatever was going on in his life. You couldn't help but embrace that excitement yourself. When he got involved with the wine, I became a regular at the farm to load up for the holiday wines!! His love for his family and animals was contagious, and I loved being around that joy!  He will be missed.
My good friend Tammy was his dental assistant. The reason I went to him. He was my dentist for over 30 years until he retired. My husband and I became good friends over those years. (RIP Dan) I loved that man and  I dedicate my beautiful smile to him.  Going to miss you Doc💙 Lora Reed
Jim was the kind of man you met as your dentist but then wanted to become his friend. He was one of the most engaging guys if ever known. One of a kind for sure. I’ll think of him often.
OMG sending prayers to you and your family. ❤️  🙏
Dr Meyers was an inspiration to me, I loved having him as my dentist, my experience inspired me to become a dental assistant, but most of all the kindness behind the eyes, he made you feel safe and special. He made me feel proud of what I was doing. It was such a pleasure and an honor to have known him, I will miss him.
