James Philip Monaco, 65, of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan closed his eyes for eternal rest on April 4, 2025. James was born August 23, 1959, to the proud parents of Phillip and Shirley Monaco.

He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory. He is survived by his son, James Monaco, and his daughter, Rachel Monaco, whose strength mirrors that of their father's. His memory will also live on with his beloved grandson, James Monaco and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Monaco. He is also survived by his caring sisters, Cindi Kelly (Mike), Sandy Paraskos (Jim), Fran Sadorski (Ken), Lisa Clevenger (Michael), Laurie Schummer (Dan), and brother, Philip Monaco. His life journey was also shared with the mother of his two children, Renee Monaco.

James had a passion for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and especially pigeon racing. He also took great pleasure in cooking, often treating his family to his delicious recipes.

His absence will indeed leave a void in our hearts, but his spirit will live on in the memories we share.

A memorial gathering to honor James will be held on May 17, 2025 beginning at 9:30 am followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Parish 22412 Overlake Street, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080.
