James's obituary

James Michael "Jim" Brodwolf, 65, passed away on April 14, 2025, in Ellenton, Florida. Born on September 24, 1959, in Hamilton, Ohio, Jim lived a life marked by dedication to his work, love for his family, and a passion for the things that brought him joy.

Jim graduated from Garfield Senior High School in Hamilton, Ohio. He went on to build a successful career in the automotive industry, holding positions at Napa Auto Parts, Federal Mogul, and Auto7. His professional journey culminated in his role as a Regional Sales Manager—a position that reflected both his deep knowledge of the field and his ability to lead with confidence and insight.

Those who knew Jim remember him as a man with a commanding presence. He was known for his intelligence and quick wit—qualities that made him not only an effective professional but also a memorable friend and companion. Whether engaging in conversation or offering advice, Jim had a way of making people feel heard and respected.

Outside of work, Jim found joy in music, boating, and photography. These hobbies were more than pastimes; they were expressions of his curiosity and appreciation for life. Whether capturing moments through the lens of a camera or enjoying time on the water, he embraced experiences that brought both peace and excitement.

Jim’s greatest pride was his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Mary Brodwolf; daughter Bobbi Seger and her husband Keith; son Michael Brodwolf and his wife Becky; grandchildren Benjamin Seger, Isabella Seger, Ella Brodwolf, and Ryan Brodwolf; sisters Linda Hayes and Cathy Magmagui.

He was preceded in death by his father James Andrew Brodwolf; mother Jean Brodwolf; and brother-in-law Robert Hayes.

Jim’s memory will live on through the stories shared by those who loved him and the legacy he leaves behind. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
