James Ray Meyer, 73, passed on January 14, 2023. He was born to Ray Meyer on September 16, 1952.

James Meyer spent most of his life in elkader Iowa on his family's farm. He married Patricia Welch in 1970 Together they raised 4 children James Meyer (Shawn Meyer), Bobbie Morrow (Robert Morrow), Jackie Meyer, Shelly Meyer on their family Farm. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren. Nicholas Meyer, Mitchel Cole, Andrew Cole, and Christian Cutsforth. James was deployed overseas to vietnam in the year 1971and served as a chef for the duration of the war.

James graduated from Elkader Highschool in 1965.

James served his country for 10 years as a Chef in the U.S Military.
