James's obituary
James “Jim” Vincent McLellan, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 5th, 2024. He was born on April 15th, 1958, in Detroit, MI to the late John E. McLellan and the late Barbara E. McLellan. He is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Mike) McLellan, Courtney (Lance) Stevens, Caitlin (Brad) Billings and his grandchildren, Colin, Reyleigh, Ryan, Wesley, Quinn, and Baby Boy Billings.
Jim is preceded in death by his brother, Gregory E. McLellan and is survived by his sisters Paula (Jeff) Sales and Laurie Koon, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a devoted and loving father to his daughters and sons-in-law who will dearly miss him and the life lessons he taught them. He also took great pride in his grandchildren and grand dogs and loved them immensely.
Jim was an avid golfer and lover of hockey. You could always catch him watching golf, Red Wings Hockey or Yellowstone. He enjoyed boating and spending time up north with great friends.
Jim touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, loyalty, compassion and gentle spirit. His memory and his love for all of those who knew him will live on in our hearts forever.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday July 28th from 12:00pm – 4:00pm at the Century Banquet Center located within the American Polish Century Club – 33204 Maple Lane (14 Mile and Hoover) Sterling Heights MI 48312.
