In 1972, Jimmy and I were set up on a blind date, but it ended up including his friend, Frank. The three of us went to hear Vince Vance. Jimmy stood for Frank and I when we got married. Jimmy was always around, we would take the kids to see him play at FQ Fest, Helen played for our daughter's wedding. Jimmy will surely be missed and well remembered. I know my family will mention him again and again. His music will live on. Blessings and peace to Helen, Liz, and Robert from the Lodato Family. 

The music in heaven will improve measurably with Jimmy conducting.  He was truly a nice person.  He will be missed.
