James “Jim” John Loerzel, age 62, died at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN, on September 17, 2022. He was born on September 25, 1959, in Los Angeles, CA, to Barbara (Shayday) and Ambrose Loerzel. The youngest of four, Jim was excellent at beadwork and felt passionate about his Ojibwe heritage. Jim is survived by his two daughters, Wendy and Kayla Bluejacket Loerzel, his siblings Annie (Loerzel) Garba, Corinna (Loerzel) Honer, and David Loerzel, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren. He will rest at St. Joseph’s cemetery in Perham. MN.
