Mr Liles was and remains a blessing in my life. Being both from NC, Mr Liles was a light in my darkest days after losing my Mother last August. I know that”flights of angel sing him to his rest”.
Mr. Liles was my barber, notary and friend. We laughed, and talked about many important issues and how we would solve them. We lived on the same street, while passing each house with a wave my wife and I watched as Mr Liles maintained his vehicles with a generous smile for hope. Mr. Liles will be missed in our community.
You are never alone when you have the love and support of those around you. My wish for you at this time is one of peace and comfort as you celebrate the life of someone very special. James and I worked together at Dodge Park Barber Shop for over 25 years. He a very dependable and respectful kind friend. He was a responsible master barber. After on we continued our friendship nirtually. He will truly be missed. He loved his cars and kept them spotless them every day. Due to health conditions I am unable to attend the service.
I am one of Amber's (his granddaughter) best friends. I will always remember him of being so welcoming and full of love / care whenever he would see me at his house. I met him the first time and I said Hi Mr. Liles how are you? He said no, you call me Grandpa. I saw him a few other times. I loved that he was a Giants fan we sometimes would talk football. He knew I was a Redskins / Commanders fan. I really appreciate him being an outstanding person to talk to. I will always miss and love you Mr. Liles (Grandpa)! My thoughts and prayers are still with everyone. Love you all!
