Great guy! Just ignore him kidnapping and torturing a man and stabbing someone else and the many swastikas tattooed on him and the portrait of Adolf Hitler tattooed on his back and that he was the leader of the aryan brotherhood.
I just now found out of Byrdmans passing. RIP brother. Glad you turned into a gangster for Jesus! Wow! So happy to know your with the Lord and not in  the company of the Evil one. You have repented and influenced others to do the same. That's a true Tough Guy!

I didn't know him personally but he was family. That was the most beautiful memorial I've ever been to. God bless his kids and grandchildren and his beautiful partner. To know that his pastor and prison guard made the trip in honor of him was amazing.

I was devastated when I heard the news of James's passing. I just couldn’t believe it, of course I cried. I would not be able to have another phone call or letter exchange with him.

He is gone from earth now, but walking with Jesus and singing in the Heavenly Choir!

I watched a very tough man fall in love with Jesus and serve him in any and every way he could.

I sent him reading material on Saul’s conversion to Paul right after he got saved. That was exactly what he reminded me of.

“The story of Paul is a story of redemption in Jesus Christ and a testimony that no one is beyond the saving grace of the Lord,”

“Paul’s early life was marked by religious zeal, brutal violence, and the relentless persecution of the early church.”

What is remarkable is that Saul’s conversion took him from a persecutor of epic proportions to a hope dealer bent on spreading the gospel throughout the world.

You SERVED JESUS WELL  here on earth, I can’t wait to see you in heaven and give you a big HUG!!

Your gone from earth, we will miss you, but never forget you.   We love you James!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm truly Thankful for our friendship over the last 20 years.  You will always hold a special place in my heart.  Till the Toe tags.  Rest Easy in God's arms my brother.

Even though I've only known you for a short time, I have witnessed the change from who you were to who you've become. I have watched you shed the hard exterior and your true heart and soul emerged. You have joy, hope, and serenity in your face and eyes. You have bared witness to others and have helped calm them in their time of need. You have become a true warrior for God. I am thankful to call you friend and I am grateful you have found peace. You are now free. Love you.

Hope they are stocked up on Honey Buns!😘

Love you Big Bro.  Last I seen you. You gave me a kiss on my cheek and told me you loved me and I was your real brother.  I’ll see you again.

Tim Carter
1985, Clayton, GA, USA

We rode from Ga to SC many many time playing The Ballad of Curtis Lowe and any Skynard song we could and when he broke out his Guitar he would sing John Anderson “ I just came to count the memories “ or “Thank God for kids” by the oak ridge boys he was around when all 3 of my kids was born and to them he was always uncle Marc

I could write a book of memories we shared some we shouldn’t be proud of but I wouldn’t trade them for nothing I am very thankful he gave his life to God Now we know there is a loyal respected man walking the streets of heaven

RIP my brother you may be gone but you will never be forgotten

Prayers for the family we lost a good one God now has a great one
