Obituary

On April 24 Heaven gained a soldier in cowboy boots. James Paul Leatherman left this world and his wife of 59 years, JoAnn (Seiter) Leatherman, after a long battle with cancer at his home in Hancock, Maine. Jim was born on March 18,1941 to Walter and Ruth (Kirk) Leatherman in Barberton, Ohio. His brothers, Richard and Charles, were waiting for him at the gates of Heaven.

Jim lives on in his family whom he loved …

Personal note from Jim's Family

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Hospice in your town.
We called Gentiva for Hospice and could not have been happier that we did. They made sure that Dad was never in pain and was able to complete his journey with dignity and pride. They also were phenomenal with Mom. They taught us what we didn't know, and they hugged us when we needed it. We could not have asked for better care or guidance. Because of your donations, Hospice will continue to cost the families nothing and will ensure that they continue to be available in your area.
