Jim's obituary
James “Jim” Layton Wagner, 79, of Graham Washington, was called home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2024. He was born in Idaho State on April 11, 1944 to Ronald and Violet Wagner. Later moving to Washington state and growing up in Bremerton, Wa.
After graduating High School in 1962, Jim joined the US National Coast Guard where he served as a “Coastie”. Later going into the world of finance & Real Estate.
In 1966 Jim met his beautiful wife Melissa and they were married on October 19, 1967, they raised their 2 boys Ed & Matt in Graham Wa.
Jim had a deep love for family & the outdoors. From hunting & fishing, racing cars & riding quads, traveling & camping with his wife and family! You could find Jim at any event his kids, grandkids and great grandkids were apart of. He loved watching football, rooting for the Seahawks or maybe even against them just to make people laugh.
His family was so special and important to him. He was always there to give you support, share his knowledge, pick you up if you locked your keys in your car or take a grandchild to school. He loved being a part of everyone’s life even if it was to “supervise” you digging a hole or climbing a ladder, he was just always there.
Jim never met a stranger. Whether you were someone he just met, a close friend or a family member you could always count on a joke or laugh to be shared when you were together. He loved to make people laugh.
Jim had a passion for collector cars and has owned many beautiful cars over the years. He enjoyed taking them to car shows and was part of the Demonos car club.
