Jim's obituary

James Lawrence Gill was born on December 15, 1973 in Denville, NJ.  He grew up in New Jersey, spending his childhood on Schooley's Mountain in Long Valley, where he met his wife, Jeanne, before moving to the New Brunswick area after marrying Jeanne in 1997.  They started their family in East Brunswick, where Jim became the proud father to two sons, Zack and Tyler.

Jim was an active supporter of his sons in all of their activities and accomplishments, including as a leader in the Scouts of America program. He extended his loyalty and support to everyone as not only his friends, but his sons' friends, who became extended family to him.  Some of his greatest pleasures included having adventures with his family, from amusement park days to family weekends at unique destinations to longer vacations across the country.  He was an extraordinary and devoted husband and partner to Jeanne for 28 years, from providing unwavering support through life changes to the daily acts of kindness that were simply to make her life easier.

Jim enjoyed spending time with friends, whether it was watching football, playing games, or just enjoying each other's company.  He was loyal to the people whom he loved throughout his life, including friends made in early childhood and new friends found in recent years.  His dedication to the people whom he loved meant that he was always there to provide support without questions or conditions when someone needed help, love, or just someone to talk to.  Jim spent his career in sales, recruiting, and training, where he was an enthusiastic supporter of his teammates and often a mentor to others.  In his last year, he worked with his close friend to support his efforts to grow his business, Solid Concepts, LLC.

Jim gave his love, help, and support to others without hesitation, and we are forever grateful for the positive impact that he made on the lives of the people he touched.
