I'm deeply saddened to have heard of Jim's passing. We worked together for Continental at LAX when he was a supervisor for customer service. So many memories, but my favorite was when Jim "volunteered" to take 8 crazy gals with him on a FAM trip to Sydney, Australia in the mid-late 80's. Those were the days! Everyone who knew Jim - loved him. He was admired and respected by everyone. As is the case with those who work(ed) in the airline industry many moved on to other departments, cities, states and in some cases countries for new challenges and opportunities. I'm so grateful that Jim and I stayed in touch for 40+ years and could laugh about the crazy customers we had encountered. It's rare these days for people to have and maintain lifelong friendships - but we became an extended family at Continental. We worked hard together as a true team - always having each others back when flights were delayed or canceled. We got together for any and every occasion that we could; birthdays, promotions, transfers to other cities, anniversaries, weddings, holidays - you name it - we had our favorite "haunts" throughout the South Bay where we would all get together and celebrate.
Jim's kindness, generosity and true friendship made a lasting impression not only on myself, but everyone who was blessed to know him.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. May God bring you comfort in the days ahead as your hearts slowly heal from the loss of a true "one in a million" gentleman.
My deepest sympathy,
Cindy "B" Good (aka "CB" to Jim)

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Dino. I have known him 40+ years. I live in Littleton, Colorado now and remember him when he was a sales rep for Continental Airlines. I then became a flight service manager for Continental Airlines. What an amazing soul, very gregarious and handsome! I remember when his mom passed, she lived close by and when he moved to Arizona. He loved Hawaii so much but I understand the cost of living is ridiculous! RIP Jim!

I’m so sorry to hear this. Jim and I stayed in touch through Facebook. I’m guessing he’s the first of us cousins to pass.
