1 year ago Jim passed away, two days after my last visit with him.
He was known as one of the best builders around. He did not need to advertise , word got around.
Jim was very knowlegible of construction, and he possesed the determination and skills to do it proper.
Jim built my home and many other fine homes in Columbia County.
Through the process o building there are times when the money to proceed are not ready , but Jim said “ That’s okay we will keep going” . After my home was finished I worked for Jim for years after i settled up with him.
I learned a lot from Jim. He was man of many skills, and lunch with him was an opportunity to learn.
I miss Jim ,but we will meet again someday!

To Barb and family, so sorry Dianne and I couldn’t be at the memorial because of other commitments. I always enjoyed having breakfast with Jim over the years and was so happy when he built our house. Also when he was the general contractor for Warren Community Fellowship Church. The Country Inn was our hangout almost every morning. And taking him out once a month or so while he was in assisted living was a great time for him and all of us. I am praying that God will comfort all of you at this time of sorrow and loss. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
