James ‘Jim’ D. Hughes 63, of Liberty Twp., passed away peacefully with his youngest daughter (Charity) and his first wife (Bonnie) by his side. He is survived by his favorite person, oldest grandson Skye ‘Do’ Hughes; his daughters Charity (Nick) Taylor, Jennifer Hughes, Jessica (Nichole) Hughes and Heather Kalilimoku; his grandchildren, who he loved & adored, Cierra, Talan, Leia, Phoenix & Navy.

He is also survived by his father, General Ray (Mona) Hughes; mother, Lynnette Carmack; his brothers & sisters; and many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Our father was hard working, strong willed and always a great provider for his family. The love he had for his grandchildren was immeasurable, they will miss their ‘Pawpaw’ dearly.

We miss & love you dad! -Lani, Badica, Jorline & Sis. Until we meet again.

His final resting place will be at Dayton National Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family is accepting donations, there’s a Memorial fund to help with funeral & medical expenses. Donations can be made at any Fifth Third Bank under 'James D. Hughes Memorial'.
