James's obituary

James “Jim” Jarvis, born on July 1, 1956, was found deceased on December 24,

2025.

James, known to most as Jim, lived life on his own terms. He was something of an

outlaw in spirit—independent, strong-willed, and unapologetically himself. Those who

truly knew him understood that beneath his rough edges was a loyal and caring heart.

Jim shared a deep bond with his beloved dog, Pixie, who remained his constant

companion after the passing of his late wife, Darla Jarvis. Pixie was more than a pet;

she was family, offering comfort, companionship, and unwavering loyalty.

James is survived by family members with whom he had been distant, as well as his

nieces, Lacie Yoxall and Brandie Yoxall, daughters of his late brother, Allen Yoxall.

Arrangements are being arranged with Trujillo Family Funeral Home for cremation. At

this time, no services are planned.

James Jarvis will be remembered for his independence, his devotion to his dog, and the

life he chose to live—on his own path, by his own rules.
