I've only seen James get angry once. It was at me for looking like a mess in my NJROTC uniform during my freshman year. Never seen him angry since, only smiles and him bringing cheer.

Even though we have not spoken over the past couple of years I have always seen you as a brother and a big part of my life from the first time we hung out freshman year to our fall out you were always there for me from asking mom if I can live with you guys when I had no where else to go to telling me it straight when I was fucking up I will always love our time together love and miss you bro
We'd joke with my brother Gary about how Ivey's his job was a "hostile work environment". He was Just amazing at helping us too. We saw him as family because to us that's what he was. I will ALWAYS view him as my brother.
Memorial service at 12pm will be streamed live and James FB will be tagged for those who cannot attend!

I will always remember how good Jimmy was with the kids. Every time he showed up it was always, Uncle Jimmy this and uncle Jimmy that. Kids always trying to climb on him, wrestle with him, tell jokes to him...

And every time he tried to hide from God at church he always wound up on the floor at the alter.

We're going to miss you mightily here on earth James.

Till we all meet again, bro.

🤜🤛

While he did continually kept putting people "on the list", his legacy will always be missed. I have met Ivey through Axeman believe it or not and he was a person who have continually not let things get to him too heavily.

I remember first meeting James.  He was James number 4 among many of our friends, and adopted to calling him Ivey.  He was looking for work, and on a downward spiral with his health.

Then he met Gary, and Garys little brother John.  At a time that these brothers needed the help the most, all their friends came in to help them out.  Ivey became the biggeat blessing for these two, and their mother later on.  Gary and John had more than another care worker.  They had a friend who can relate to their interests.

Ivey was just that.  An amazing human who managed to touch so many lives.  He might not be here, and at one point might end up forgotten in history in general.  He will never be forgotten by those who had the very luck to know him.

Shared a heart Red heart
