James's obituary
James was born in St. Clare, Kansas on April 15, 1939, a son of the late Margaret Elizabeth (Wells) and Garrnett Edward Hladky.
He was the widower of Dixie Darlene (Chayer) Hladky.
Survivors include daughter, Janice Wheeler, of Beverly, Kansas; sons, James (Patricia) Murk, of Aurora, Kansas, and Ronald (Valerie) Murk, of Delphos, Kansas; brother, John Hladky of St. Mary's, Kansas; and sister Joann Henneky of Rossville, Kansas; grandchildren: Bryan, Chris, and Jeremy Yohe, Nichole Pendleton, Eric and Dustin Murk, April Coetzee, Ryan Murk-Hoobler, and Mikayla, Melea, and D.J. Hladky; as well as 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by son, Daniel Hladky; step son, Roger Murk; sister, Judy Hladky; brother, Joyce Hladky, and sister Joy Bostlemann.
Private memorial services will take place a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Herington Senior Center, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas.
