James & Amy were my  next door neighbors & we both had Dachshund's, Sasha theirs, Lilly mine. My Lilly had been very ill. But one Sunday afternoon she was feeling fine & walked around towards the front of the house & their she found James & Sasha in their driveway.  Lilly loved James & plopped down in front of him wanting some love. James gently petted her & told her she was a good, brave girl. And Sasha too! We spent the next 15 minutes or so sitting in the grass in the warm September sun loving on our girl dachshunds & talking about how much we love them. This meant the world to me as several days later my Lilly passed.  Both James, Amy & also Braxton & Jayden were a huge comfort to me after Lilly passed.  Also, without asking, James cut my grass for me several times after losing Lilly because he knew how sad I was.  James was gentle,  kind and loving. Really nice & delightful to be around. To the family, James is with Jesus in Heaven.  We also had talked about our faith before & he told me that Jesus is his Savior & had already accepted him.  Did you know his birthday today is Pentecost Sunday?! This is huge & no coincidence. God bless you 🙏 ❤️.  Love, Mary

Football season makes me think about James.  Especially when Tom Brady is playing or the Michigan Wolverines! I find myself cheering for them now because I know that use to make him smile when they would win!  He would not even call me if Michigan beat Ohio State. He would just text me he’s adorable emoji‘s until the crack of dawn, making jokes😂 Sports is something that bonded us.  I truly miss my brother🕊

I was able to spend time with James the evening of our younger brother Jason’s birthday, November 14th. I will forever cherish being there to hold his hand the day the Lord called him home.

I was fortunate to play on many teams with James. He was one of the my greatest teammates and most favorite teammates. We had a lot of fun together on and off the court. Just a great guy. I hope God has a court for him to run, jump, and dunk. He did it like no other. Rest in peace my friend.
My deepest sympathy and prayers to the Gardner and Livers families.

We now have another angel watching over us with Anna, Flossie, my mom Joyce and Big James and others.

The Amrhien Family
I’ll never forget when Johnna Roessner invited this little country girl with ZERO athleticism to play dodge ball with The Naptown Ballerz. The first play of the game James took someone out and I realized I was in a totally different league...the bench league. I didn’t give up, I became the team cheerleader really fast. Amy, James, Johnna and the team always let me join in the fun even though I had zero talent. And then somehow they let me stick around for the fun after the season. Prayers to James’ entire family! May God wrap you in His peace and love!

Dear Amy, Jayden, Braxton, Shirely, Mrs. Gardner & Jame's Siblings,
I'd like you to know that I am deeply saddened and so sorry along with you. I loved having James and family as my next door neighbor and friend. From the times that he ran over to my yard after hearing me scream from me seeing garter snakes and rescuing me, remember those days Amy! To our lovely chats while watching our doggies & your children play between our yards.
One talk in particular was about Jesus and his unconditional love for him & us.
There is no doubt that James is with Jesus now and he really knows what his unconditional love is for him.
I hope that it may comfort you to know that Jesus also feels with and for you all as well, always.
God bless you & sending you all virtual hugs,
Mary
Sending our deepest condolences to the entire family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I still can't believe this. R.I.H James! I know your reunion with Andee was amazing! ❤❤
This one I have yet to grasp and understand brother but I know you’re where you’re supposed to be and are well. I wish this wasn’t how we had to say “get wit me later” but I’ll see y in the other side and tell Andee I said what up and I love her too! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾❤️
