It is with deep sadness that our family announces the death of James Foster Roberson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle who was taken suddenly in March, 2023 on the first day of spring.

James was born in January 1955 in Washington DC to Thomas and Marie Roberson. He is survived by his wife Wendy, children Jeffery (Zulaikha), Keith (Andrea), James, and Waverly, siblings Cheryl (Danny) Swartz and Thomas (Pat), and grandchildren Violet and Alakai. He is also survived by his nephew Michael (Jillian) and nieces Lisa (James) Torrence and Jessica (Bryan) Pearre. James was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Marie, and nephew Daniel.

James was a dedicated and well-respected engineer in Maryland, and will also be missed by his many colleagues and close friends who remember his strong work ethic and loyalty. As father and spouse, James is remembered for his unfaltering reliability and bringing everyone together regularly for vacations and holidays, including the infamous snowman-infused Christmas bash he hosted without fail in his home annually.
