James Edward Mann, 86, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025. A devoted father, proud veteran, and beloved family man, James will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Born on August 28, 1938, James dedicated his life to his family and his country. He served honorably in the United States military, demonstrating a quiet strength and steadfast commitment to service that carried through every chapter of his life.
James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Mann, and by his parents. He is survived by his children: Jennifer Laumann (Douglas), Michelle Vulhop (Mark), Scott Mann, and Gregory Mann (Michelle). He was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
His legacy of loyalty, resilience, and love for family will live on through each of them, and through the many lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering support.
A private memorial will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a veterans’ organization of your choice in James’s honor.
