A note to all Jim's family, friends, colleagues, and former athletes
Jim was diagnosed with cancer only 3 weeks before his passing. We are heartbroken and trying to grieve his loss. Please share any photos and/or stories you want like to share. Check out the photos I shared after the hockey picture. There are such nice memories!
Jim requested no services but agreed to a Celebration of Life. It is very important to us to honor his life because of all the people he touched with his big, beautiful heart during his lifetime. Please RSVP through this website by April 9th or text me at 508 269-9618.

James Edmund Kelley, age 68, of Taunton, MA, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his family on March 18, 2026, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Roxbury, MA, after a brief illness. Born on November 11, 1957, in New Bedford, MA, Jim was the beloved son of the late George Kelley and Edith (Kenyon) Bariteau.
