On November 22, 2023, James Harry Dunn passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by the love of his family and his devoted wife of 40 years, Catherine Wasley Dunn. He leaves behind a legacy of love and wisdom that will forever resonate within the hearts of his beloved family. Jim will be deeply missed by his wife, Catherine, their seven cherished children, Jimmy, Walter, John, James, Josh, Weston, and Adonis, twelve adored grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Jim was preceded in death by his brothers Steve, Mark and Tom, and is survived by Steve’s wife, Suzie, and Tom’s wife, Connie.

Jim’s passing has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew him. His kind and compassionate nature touched everyone he encountered. His unwavering love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and his wisdom and guidance will be dearly missed. He had a way of making everyone feel valued and cherished, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all friends, relatives, and well-wishers for their support, love, and prayers during this difficult time. Your kind words and gestures have been a source of comfort and strength. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Association. A private celebration of Jim’s life will be held in the spring of 2024 in Orinda, California to honor his memory and share stories of his remarkable life.
