Born on October 27, 1963, in Sparta, Georgia, James lived a life full of adventure and dedication to those he loved. He was a devoted husband to Claudia Daehler and a loving father to Toni and Raelynn, and a great brother to his sister, Haylee. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren;Robert, Anthony, and Elyse-especially when fishing with Anthony and Robert.

James had an adventurous spirit and a passion for the outdoors. He loved traveling to new places, skiing down snowy slopes, casting his fishing line into peaceful waters, and riding ATVs through rugged trails. No challenge was too great for him; his ambition and determination were unmatched.
