We will miss you, Jim. It’s hard to think about or talk about great high school memories without referencing Jim Crossen. You helped us learn and laugh. We will do this again at the end of life’s journey.
With love and fond memories

I attended St Albert the Great school with James and knew him as a kind and brilliant student as children. I will think of him always with love. Karen Vogel Dawson.

Jimmy and Becky, so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. We remember well his humorous stories while attending FW Baptist Temple. It seems such a short time ago watching you skipping down the halls of the church chanting my name. "beckybeal, beckybeal, beckybeal" 😍😂 I'll never forget that! We will be praying for God's comfort and blessings, knowing you will see him again someday!

At school I always sat by Jim because our names were close in the alphabet. Always hung out at lunch and school dances. Made each other laugh constantly. You will be missed, good friend.

My family is so saddened by this great loss of Jim to your family. His infectious smile and joyful presence said everything about him as a person. My late husband, cousin Bill, certainly enjoyed their conversations and Jim's wit and insight. One thing for sure, he was well loved and raised a beautiful family. May the Lord give all strength and may you continue to celebrate his joyful spirit. Karen Pennington and family

I was sorry to hear about Jim's passing. We had just begun to re-connect probably for the first time since I graduated from Illinois State University, which was the end of Jim's freshman year. We were both part of the Navigator group at ISU. Jim's daughter, Becky, and her family were visiting Tokyo from Korea, and via Jim's introduction I was able to meet them in Tokyo and we were able to climb (?), go up the Sky Tree Tower together. Good time together, but a rainy, cloudy day, so we couldn't see much of Tokyo. I am grateful for the emails and I think a couple of phone calls Jim and I had over the past. Jim was planning on stopping through Japan on his was to Korea to visit Becky this fall. I will miss the opportunity to see Jim face to face again in this life, I am thankful for the hope we have of seeing each other again in heaven!

We were in a fellowship group with Jim for years. He thoughtfully acted to help those he knew still didn't know his Savior. He'd send a book, go visit, pray. His family was his joy. We saw the photos of the grandsons and heard about the trip to Korea. We rejoice that He is with his Savior and that we will fellowship with him there, too!

Always a kind word and not a mean bone in his body! Always smiling and a top notch story teller! Kind and compassionate and loved his children and grandchildren! You will be missed by all! Will see you again! Love you all the Pat Crossen family!

Jim Crossen was a kind and compassionate man. No matter the circumstances, he remained kind and considerate. His faith could move mountains. Unwavering and steadfast, his faith was his calling card. Jim had a terrific memory. If anyone had a question about an event in the past, he would know all the details. Jim is now in Gods heavenly presence. Yes he will be missed.
