James Edward Croak, Sr. was born December 6, 1901 to Anna Stacia Croak of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania (and Harry Henry Adams of Allison Township and, later, Dunnstown, Pennsylvania). He married Josephine M. Bacon in 1926 and they had 3 children - James E. Croak, Jr., Josephine Ann and a second daughter, Cynthia, who passed in infancy. James worked several positions in the Lock Haven area including the paper mill, the brick works and others. Loved & missed by all.
