James's obituary

Jamestown- James Stanley Corum Jr., 77, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Cone Hospital. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Oak View Baptist Church on Wednesday April 16, 2025. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Smith. 

Stan was born in Guilford County on March 28, 1947, the son of Virginia Freeman and Stanley Corum. He work at Gilbarco until retirement. He was an active member of Oak View Baptist Church and he served in the Vietnam war. He enjoyed spending his time at Badin Lake skiing and fishing.

Stan was proceeded in death by his parents, Virginia and Stanley Corum.

Surviving are his wife Beverly Corum of Jamestown, N.C. and his sister Teresa Morgan of Greensboro, N.C.; his children, Ryan Corum of Greensboro, N.C. and Kristen Church and husband, Luke of Reidsville, N.C.; five grandchildren Keegan, Sydney  Nicole, Kenzie, Sawyer and Riley.
