Rick,

 Thank you for giving me words of encouragement when I needed them.

My sweet boy…I miss you so much…your funny sense of humor, your bright smile, your laughing eyes, your great big bear hugs.  It seems like yesterday that you left us even though it has been three years now…three years…a lifetime.  We have had another baby added to our family…your baby sister has a little girl, Iris Catherine Walker born to Ashley and Scot last March…the biggest baby born in our family yet.  She weighed 9 lbs. 3 oz…..and she looks just like Ashley did…and has dark hair just like you, Sara and Ashly did…and your Nona.  And Austin and Courtney had a baby girl 8 weeks ago…Amelia Wren…tiny but growing fast.  Who knows how many nieces or nephews you will have that you will only see from heaven.  You never got a chance to see Sara and John’s little Allison Blair…she looks just like Sara…Liam, Ethan, and Owen are all getting so big…and Amanda Leigh’s Charlie, Sammy, Arthur and Teddy…all so much bigger…all of Catherine, and Aimee’s babies are just about grown up….and Avery and Preston…growing up and looking so much like you.  They miss their dad so very much, Rick.  You, are missed so much…some times I can hardly stand it…sweetheart…my baby…I miss you so much…I will always love you, my precious oldest child.

Rick James...I still miss you every day. So many great memories and all the song choices you sent me in the mornings. I haven't forgotten one and I smile every time I hear them. Sending you much love in the heavens and awaiting the day that I get to embrace you agin.
