Background
Jim was a mechanical engineer, father to three children, step father to two more, grandfather to five and a much loved friend and husband. One of Jim’s wishes is that more funding in schools should be allocated to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs. While Jim thought the arts added some dimension to life, he truly believed children should be strongly encouraged to keep educational options open that would allow careers in STEM-based areas. We want to build a fund that supports that goal.
