It's been five years - in some ways time has flown by and in other ways, it hasn't.  I appreciate my waking dreams of Jim telling me that it's time to get up. I miss his sense of humor, his snarky commentary, his generosity. I miss him.
Missing Jim - it's funny how his unique sayings and comments are such a part of my speech
The kind of love and kindness you showed me, in your own way with your personalized touch, will last for more than a few lifetimes. I wish I could speak to you now when I need the kind of friend like you the most.
Larry and I offer our condolences.
So many good things to be said about Jim. I know he is sorely missed. Susan and Hannah my heart goes out to you.

Happy Birthday Jim where ever you may be. I'm sorry you couldn't stay around long enough to see our friend Donald Trump reelected for a second term! RIP

James became my attorney and then my friend. I am so grateful for all he has done for me through the decades. Honestly, if it weren't for him I dont know where'd I'd be... he was heaven sent at a time of great hardship in my life.
I am so proud to know him and call him my friend. He adored my whole family especially, my Mom. We are all so deeply saddened by his passing. Our Deepest Condolences to his wife Susan and daughter Hannah as well as his whole entire family. Fly High Jim, Yours Truly, Cheryl Ann Morrison
Susan, He will be truly missed, my deepest condolences.
Susan & Hanna - sorry for your loss & sad you are going through this. He was a character and loved by everyone.
I met Jim when I was clerking for his dad, Judge Close and always enjoyed my discussions with him. I recently had reconnected with him on Facebook and was impressed that we shared an enjoyment of the Irish group, Screaming Orphans.
From Bill Westervelt, “wire”. “G” as we called him at BAHS, was one of the most interesting and funny characters in school. He continued to be funny, charming, and smart the rest of his life. Actually, G gave me my nickname “wire” when I was a junior, he had a name for everyone! That nickname, which at the time, I did not like, has stayed with me my whole life. I like it now! My frat bro’s from Western Maryland, now McDaniel, still refer to me as Wire. Over the years we stayed in touch with BA HS reunions, golf events in Hartford County, and other school related events. He never changed with the quick wit and sometimes cutting remarks, that only G could get away. I have to admit he had more adventures then I realized, Merchant Marines? Really! Barry Lambert, another school pal, and I were remembering G yesterday, after the news, and Barry reminded me G played football with us at BA. He was a tough guy and not afraid to stick his head in some hard hitting football practices. Bet people don’t remember G the footballer. We would have loved to have seen G in action in the court room. Anyway, to me G was one of the more interesting characters in my life and I am very sad in his passing.

In friendship, Wire.

2017, Bel Air High School Reunion
Somehow, this guy made a connection with me at our 50th BHS reunion. I hadn’t really seen him much since graduation as I live in Houston, Tx., but through FB, we kept in touch since the last reunion. With his posts, I felt like I knew what was going on in my hometown. Thx, G. Loved your garden pics.
