James Edwin Clayton (“Jim”) passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the age of 81.
James was born in Houston, Texas, the middle of three sons of Juanita Guidry and John Clayton. He graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School in Houston, Texas, and enlisted in the Army shortly thereafter, serving four years including a tour of duty in Panama. After leaving the service, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he had a 20+ …
