James “Jimmy” Clark Allison, 58, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, in Longmont, Colorado, after a courageous three-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on May 20, 1967, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, James carried the name of his uncle, the last surviving sibling of his father’s generation.

Brilliant, introspective, and deeply loved, James built a life defined by curiosity and creativity. He worked more than a decade for Seagate Technology and later opened Left Hand …
