It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of James Christopher Matthew Springer, who left us too soon on October 23, 2023. Born on March 22, 1989, Chris lived his life to the fullest, leaving a tremendous impact on all those fortunate enough to know him.

His kind heart and helpful nature made him a beacon of warmth in the lives of many. Chris was known for his sweetness, always ready to extend a helping hand and offer a comforting smile. He understood the power and necessity of friendship, and made it a point to bring people together, sowing seeds of unity and companionship wherever he went.

Among his greatest accomplishments was his dear daughter, Breya, who he loved unequivocally. Chris’s love for his daughter was evident to all that knew him!  So in lieu of flowers the family has asked for any donations or contributions be made towards his daughters education fund through his everloved website or e-transfer into her account 4breya@gmail.com. His nurturing spirit was not only confined to his family, he also extended his love and guidance to the youth at the local skate park, instilling in them the importance of community, kindness, and congregation of like minded people.

His legacy is one of kindness and inclusivity, a testament to his character and beliefs. Chris sought to unify, and to bring people together, his actions spoke so much louder than words although he was not shy to speak about his thoughts or opinions. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, a testament to the impact he had on countless lives. 

Preceding his passing were his Grandfathers James and Harry as well as his Grandmother Eunice. Chris is survived by his loving Grandfather Patrick, father James, and mother Maryanne. His older sisters, Sharlene and Jessica. Aunties Carol, Jackie, Uncles Brian, Trevor, and Andrew. As well as cousins Brendan, Justin and families. Nieces Rishonna, Rosie and nephew Ryshawn. Ultimately also by his incredible daughter Breya. Whom all share in the immense grief of this absolutely tragic loss. Our hearts and thoughts go out to family and all those mourning Chris at this time. His spirit lives on in the lives of those he touched, a reminder of his integral role in our lives.

In losing Chris, we lose a precious, kind-hearted, and compassionate soul. His memory will inspire us to continue his mission of unity and amiability. Even though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit will continue to guide us in how we treat each other. James Christopher Matthew Springer will be immeasurably missed and forever be remembered in our hearts.
