James's obituary
James Mark Caslin passed away peacefully in his sleep from natural causes at his home in Yucca Valley on November 11, 2023.
James was born in Los Angeles, California on June 3, 1940, to Mark and Viola Caslin. He attended Baldwin Park High School and after graduating started his career in auto mechanics at the local Ford dealership. His life-long career was with NHRA Safety Safari, where he spent almost 30 years traveling the country with the NHRA. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, BBQ and spending time on the river in Parker, Arizona with his family.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Viola Caslin. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Teri Amber Price Caslin of Yucca Valley, his son David Caslin (Anne) of San Diego, son Michael Lazarescu (Siara) of Seattle, Washington; daughter Ashley Lazarescu of London, England and grandchildren Bentley, Brinley, Harley and Xavier.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be private with family and close friends.
