James Patrick Cartwright, 51, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on December 3, 2023 at his home he shared with his sister and niece. He was born to Paul and Patricia Cartwright on May 29, 1972, in Norfolk, James, also known as Jami  he was the youngest of 4 Children

Jami was a very loving and kind person who had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews. He dedicated much of his time to watching them.

Jami  is survived by his sister, Ginger Cartwright of Norfolk, and his brother John (Robin) Cartwright of Shelby, Ohio. He also leaves behind five nieces, four nephews, six great nieces, and four great nephews. In addition, he is survived by two uncles and several cousins. And his best friend and brother Bruce Jordan.

Jami  was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and Paul Cartwright, his brother Harry Cartwright, sister-in-law, Beverly Cartwright and a great nephew, ZJ Turner.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 9, at 5 PM to honor James Patrick Cartwright. Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to join in remembering and celebrating his life.

May James Patrick Cartwright's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort and strength to all who knew him
