Background
We would love to dedicate a bench in his honor at Howard Park, which is South Bend's first park. James' family will be able to enjoy the park and see a bench dedicated to all his hard work and laughter. Howard Park is located at 219 S. St. Louis Blvd., South Bend, IN 46617
Collectively, we can remember James by contributing to this cause and having something where people can know that James made a difference in each of us just by knowing him.
The bench is $3,500. We would love to have all the funds by James' Celebration of Life on August 3rd, but will continue to collect funds until the full $3,500 has been received. We thought this would be a nice way for all of us to remember James, no matter how small your donation. Once all funds have been collected, we will order the bench & notify those who contributed.
