James's obituary
An active member of Piedmont Baptist Church of Chesnee, SC, James was truly loved by all that knew him. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years Wilma June Bugg, and his brothers, Paul Bugg, Hillard Bugg, and sisters Ruby Smith and Elsie Bugg and daughter Elaine Thorpe.
James was a loving father to his children, Jeffrey and his wife Rebecca Bugg of Boiling Springs, SC, Johnny Gillin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Neal Ganem of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Cindy Harmon and her husband Danny of Leicester, David and his wife Debbie Gillin of Ft. Pierce, FL, Donnie Bugg and his wife Brenda of Marion, Lonnie Bugg of Mission Hill, SD, Kathy Montague of Candler, Gail Whiting of Jonesboro, TN and Steve Gillin of Candler; 46 Grandchildren; great-grandchildren and his beloved grand-pup, Prada.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P. M. on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Wells Chapel of Faith, 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler, NC. Pastor Larry Flemming will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Wells Chapel of Faith.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made in Clyde’s memory to Piedmont Baptist Church, 5524 Chesnee Hwy., Chesnee, SC 29323
The care of Mr. Bugg has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
