James Edward Brown. Born on May 11, 1951. Passed into Heaven on February 10, 2026. A husband to his wife, Gilda Brown, for nearly 50 years. Devoted father, to his four children, James, Brandy, Mark and Jamie. Amazing grandfather and great grandfather. Lived for his family. Enjoyed golf, cribbage, family poker games and good bourbon. Remembered for his gigantic personality and presence. A smile and laugh undeniable. A work ethic incomparable. A toughness and grit unattainable. He was the glue that united his very large family. An example of sacrifice, loyalty and love that goes beyond a bloodline. There was no grey area for James Edward Brown. To know him was to love him. And if you were blessed enough to know him, you are better for it!
