It is with enduring love and appreciation in our hearts that we share this memorial of James Anderson McConnell, who fell asleep in death on August 19, 2023. Better known as Jim, he was born on December 2, 1950 in Murphysboro, Illinois, the son of Thomas Arvel McConnell and Pharaba Stella McConnell, both of whom preceded him in death. He lived his life as a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, friend, and community member.
