James's obituary

James Nathan Allen passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 22, following a 20 month long battle with brain cancer. He was at home with his family.

While the last chapter of his life was centered around fighting cancer - he had so many other chapters. He was an amazing friend, son, brother, and dog-dad. He loved to laugh and to make anyone around him laugh. He knew most convention centers in this country inside and out - as well as the menu at most late-night fast-food restaurants. He was a musician, F1 fan, gamer, long-time New Orleanian, and so, so, much more.

We ask that in lieu of flowers, you would make any donations in his memory to the Glioblastoma Research Organization, so that one day there might be a cure for this truly horrible disease.
