James's obituary
James “Jim” Douglas Aasness, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 28th.
Jim grew up in Andover, MN. He served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps as a radar direction finder. He then went on to work as a cabinet maker, and most recently as a machine operator. He was set to retire on September 1, 2022. Jim enjoyed spending time with family, working on cars, and being in nature.
He is preceded in life by parents Orville and Dorothy Aasness, and brother Ronald.
He is survived by children Karl, Kimberly, and Kelsey; grandchildren Jace and Theodore; and siblings Richard and Marjorie.
