Dear friends and family,

I am writing this post with great sadness. My father, James Allen Stuart, passed away on Friday November 18th, losing a his battle with cancer.

James was born on June 25th, 1959 to Buzz and Maida in Warrenton, VA and raised in Manassas, VA.

In 1986, he met his friend and soulmate Andrea Lynn Stuart (Baum), and they wed in 1990, going on to have one child, Jessica Fae Myers (Stuart). James was a force of nature, his family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Jess and Andrea and always boasted about how much he loved them.

James was passionate about playing his guitar and banjo and a skilled woodcrafter. Anyone who knew James knew that he was a honest, hardworking man who had no problem starting conversations and was always telling a good story (sometimes not so PG).

In addition to his wife and daughter, James is survived by his son, James Stuart Jr.; his brother, Patrick Stuart; and his sister, Joanne Beverly.

No funeral services will held at his request, however a celebration of his life is being planned for the Spring.
