There are people who God brings into your life for a specific time to fulfill a specific purpose and only God knows where I would be if you were not there for me Jamal S Kazmi. I am still in shock…. We were just talking a few weeks ago?! I will never forget that day 20 plus years ago when you warned me, that “you see yourself in me” and I need to get my shit together. I will always be grateful for the life lessons you thought me my brother.

A lot of who I am today my brother is because of our friendship and your guidance. Thank you for listening when I needed someone to hear me out, thank you shutting me down when I thought that I was bigger than I am and thank you for putting me first even when it meant you had to sacrifice your own time.

May Allah SWT Reward you for all the good you have done in this world, May he forgive and have mercy on both of us for anything that may have done to displease him. May all your pain and suffering in this Dunya erase any of your sins. May Allah SWT accept you has a shaheed and elevate your place in Jannah. May he open your space, surround you with angels and give you only the best of company. May the breezes of your gardens in paradise surround you.

I love you brother and I will miss you dearly. My condolences to the whole Kazmi family who have always treated me as their son and nothing less. Michelle, I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a diamond. Even the scratch’s on the surface made him beautiful. 😔
