Jaleesa Mae Maxfield, born April 29, 1988, passed away January 11, 2026 unexpectedly. She carried a light and smile that touched all who knew her, radiating love and warmth through every aspect of her life. Jaleesa's zest for life was evident through her infectious laughter, her passion for music, adventure, cooking and her unyielding love for her son Jamar Jr. She leaves behind a legacy of joy, resilience, and unwavering spirit.

Jaleesa is survived by her loving mother, Christina Wandell, and father, Geren Richardson, her only child, her son, Jarmar Cougar Jr. along with several sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jaleesa's spirit continue to inspire all who knew her - a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest times. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
