Hubert- Jake Tyler Fetzer, 20, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at ECU Health in Greenville. He was born September 11, 2004 in Jacksonville, NC.

The family will have visitation beginning at 11:00am on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro. A celebration of life will be held at 12:00pm with Rev Isaac Hopkins officiating.

Jake was a kind and gentle soul whose life was a testament to love, generosity, and joy. Jake was a dedicated and hardworking landscaper who loved to work with his hands and make things look beautiful. He enjoyed looking at luxury cars. His greatest joy was being surrounded by his family and friends. Jake loved going out to eat with his family and spending time with his girlfriend, Ava. Whether it was through the sweetest gifts or a heartfelt gesture, Jake’s goal was always to bring happiness to those he loved.

He is survived by his mother and father, Diane and Ronald Fetzer of the home; sister, Kailee Aldrich (Tim) of Hubert; nephew, Channon Aldrich; paternal grandparents, Pappy and Mimi Streck of PA; aunts and uncles, Missy Marone of PA, Stephanie Kurak of NC, Mike Kurak of NC, John Kurak (Nikki) of WI, and Debbie Carr (Wayne) of VA; great uncle, Jack Virag of NC; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Blake Daniel Fetzer, and his maternal grandmother, Margaret Kurak Wilson.
