Jaime Gutierrez passed away in Los Angeles on the evening of October 28, 2020 at the age of 33.

Jaime was born in New Jersey in 1987 but grew up mostly in Glendale, California with his parents, Fermin and Salud Gutierrez. He was the youngest of 7 siblings.

As a child, Jaime had severe asthma and other medical conditions that hindered him from enjoying most of the things that children do such as running around or playing sports. That didn't always stop him though, as he was very active. Jaime was the ultimate prankster and could often be found smirking at his latest "travesuras." He kept us all very busy and in his last few years had a renewed faith in God and was studying hard to become a better version of himself. In one of the last letters written, he wrote, "There's a lot of other things for me to accomplish, goals and achievements, expectations that will inspire other helpless and hopeless people... I got my first certificate, as a disciple and servant of God, Our Father. " Unfortunately, his mind would play tricks on him, and he wasn't ever able to fully recover from his mental health and medical conditions. We can be consoled by the fact that he is now finally at rest and able to carry out his goals without the restrictions of his body.

Jaime is survived by both of his parents, Salud and Fermin Gutierrez, and his 6 siblings: Virginia Estrada, Fermin Gutierrez, Maria Gutierrez, Susy Carter, Jorge Gutierrez, and Linda Gutierrez.

A service will be held in his honor at Continental Funeral Home at 5353 E Beverly Blvd, East Los Angeles, CA 90022 on Sunday, November 8th from 2pm to 4pm. The service will be held outdoors; masks are required.
