How you can help
Our father, Jai Hun Yang, immigrated to America from Seoul, Korea with our mother in 1969. He arrived with aspirations of becoming a medical doctor and living the American dream. Throughout his life, every aspect of his actions was driven by a love for community service.
Our father was a dedicated husband for 58 years, a wonderful father to two children , a caring physician, and a Colonel flight surgeon in the Air Force. In 2013, he established an education scholarship for youth through the First Korean Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, Texas. Each year, selected students receive various amounts to assist with furthering their education.
In lieu of flowers, our family asks that you consider making a donation to this scholarship fund. Your contribution would help us celebrate our father's passion for community service in a meaningful way that honors his legacy. Contribute
