Not long after Jade Rose was buried at Epiphany Church, I came across her headstone amongst other memorials thrown on a pile on the church grounds. I said a prayer over her headstone. My heart was broken wondering why her headstone was obviously removed and basically abandoned. I called the church hoping I could locate any family. The church never called me back.

A year later I come across her obituary. I’m hoping someone would call me and let me know what happened to her headstone. I pray someone retrieved it and put it in a place where it will be honored and taken care of.

Like I said, I was so sad looking at her headstone just lying on the ground.

She was too young to die. My nephew Forever 26 overdosed on Fentanyl November 6th, 2023. Just a few months before your daughter. So it really pained me what happened to her.

Jade was such a friendly and outgoing person, she made the most out of life and was so caring and loving with everyone that she met, she will be greatly missed!

My deepest condolences to Jade’s family during this difficult time - middle school was not a fond time for me but I hold many fond memories of walking home and running into Jade to end the walk laughing and swapping stories. 🕊️

II remember all the fun times we had. From middle school, to hanging out at parks, from walking around and also hanging out at McDonald's. You are gonna be so missed. I remember your smile and how contagious it was. You were such a pure soul with a humor to turn a dark room into lightness. I love you Jade. And I'm so sorry for what you've dealt with that consumed you. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this because not you too. There's some people up there who I know are gonna take care of you and show you around. Until we meet again. ❤🤧
