WRIGHT, Jacqueline “Jackie” Patricia, passed from this life peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the age of 68. Jackie was born on February 22, 1954, to Mildred Scott in Washington, D.C. She received her formal education through the Washington, DC public school system.  Jackie is survived by her husband, Nathan Childs; daughter, Nicole Wright-Guise (Lynwood); siblings, Michael Scott (Sharon); Clarence Scott (LaGreta); Marilyn Mallory (Curtis) and Beverly Mason (Russell); Cousins Lynette Johnson, (Gina); Lonnie Scott (Earlene); Carolyn Scott-Dixon, (Marvin) and nephew, Michael Scott, whom she adored as a son. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren: Rashone Stafford, Jaushai Henry, Jelani, Jahi, Zora and Johnny Guise;  nephews Derrick, Dexter, Andre, Gene, Calvin, Keith, Eric, Dexter, Brandon and Terrell; nieces,  Deon, Sharrone and Charlita and a host of, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Scott; brothers, Eugene, Robert, and Anthony Scott as well as her sons, Roland Mitchell and Johnny Wright (10-4/Mike).

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11am at Unity of Washington, DC at 1225 R St, NW, Washington, DC 20009.
