Jackie's obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of Jacqueline Scott, who departed this life on the 17th of January, 2024, leaving behind a life that was as radiant as the day she was born - the 26th of March, 1954.
Jackie lived her life with an infectious warmth and intelligence that endeared her to many. Her commitment to her faith in Jesus Christ inspired her friendly disposition and bright outlook. Her insightful wisdom and nurturing love were a gift to everyone who knew her. She taught us the value of kindness and that the best gift we can give one another is the gift of understanding and love.
We remember Jackie not only for her remarkable personality traits, but also for her significant accomplishments as a proud mother. She found her greatest joy as a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life was full of love and fulfillment, and her legacy of joy and kindness will remain a beacon for her family and friends.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Russell Scott, her two sons, Girel Simmons and Zachary Scott, her daughter, Kristi Scott, her two granddaughters, Ashley Simmons and Samara Simmons, her grandson, Sidney Bishop-Scott, her four great-grandchildren, and her son-in-law, Ryan Bishop. These are the individuals who will carry on her spirit of love, joy, and kindness in the face of adversity. The loss of such a vibrant soul will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held in Jackie's honor at 10:00 AM on the 30th of March 2024 at Rose City Church in Pasadena, California. All who were touched by Jackie's life are welcome to share in this celebration of her remarkable impact on the world.
